Offering those who may feel lonely and isolated the opportunity to talk about their feelings and fears. With considerable life experience Jacqueline is able to offer clients a confidential and reasuring space in which to explore, in an honest and non-judgmental way, any unresolved problems in their lives encouraging positive change, a deeper sense of autonomy and self respect. Jacqueline is trained and registered with the OXSEM Divorce / Separation Recovery Programme and is able to offer empathic understanding for those undergoing the changes that come with Divorce and Separation. Some of Jacqueline's special interests include emotional distress, depression, relationships, addiction and personal growth. Jacqueline has a person centred approach to her work, she promotes equality of opportunity whilst valuing the individuals diversity. Jacqueline has gained experience as a counsellor while working for the Portsmouth Counselling Services, GP surgeries and in her own private practice. Qualifed to ITEC standard in anatomy, physiology and massage with a completed diploma in aromatherapy. With experience in inner child work and re-birthing. As an individual member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, working towards individual accreditation, Jacqueline is bound by its Ethical Framework of Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to the Professional Conduct Procedure therein.
